Health & Travel Certificates

Some destinations require you to acquire health and travel certificates for your pet, certifying that they are healthy and free from spreadable diseases. These certificates must be completed by a registered medical professional.

Traveling With Your Pet?

Prevent delays and plan ahead when traveling with pets. As soon as you know you’ll be traveling with your companion, schedule a visit to procure a health certificate. This is especially important for international travelers.

Drs. Joe and Tibbits are certified to complete a health certificate after performing a thorough exam to ensure your pet is healthy enough for travel, parasite-free, disease-free, and current on vaccinations. We also encourage you to visit the USDA website for pet travel regulations specific to your destination.

Keep in mind, most airlines require proof of a completed health certificate within 10 days of travel. When flying, bring your pet in the passenger cabin with you to minimize stress and ensure safety. If your pet needs to fly in the cargo hold, be sure to get an acclimation certificate.
